A ninja is a spy equipped with ninja weapons hailing from the feudal era of Japan learning the skills of Japanese ninjutsu. With these skills, the ninja slipped, stole or even killed for a price. It means someone moving in silence and no one knows their presence, or it is the art of silent movement. According to the ninjutsu observers, his main ability was not so much to kill the target but to spy but to defend himself, a ninja had to be well prepared with some most lethal ninja weapons in his arsenal.
Ninjas are often associated with their ninja weapons because some of them are quite deadly and well-made, they have been interesting enough to use and have been very effective in getting the job done. These lethal ninja weapons were also designed to be cheap and easy to make so that the ninjas who carried them were well prepared to move with them. Until the ninjas appeared, many of them were originally created for agriculture and then turned into killing tools without which no ninja could survive. There are different kinds of ninja weapons.
1. Nunchaku
Although the nunchaku is not the best option for the ninja, it is one of the most flexible ninja weapons in any condition. You might know about its use in Bruce Lee movies, but it was actually made in Okinawa as a tool for cutting rice. It is mounted with one or two sticks and can be rotated to attract the attention of the enemies. It is easy to bear and not heavy. Its chain is used to take an enemy's knife and break it.
2. Shuriken
Shuriken is one of the most recognizable lethal ninja weapons. It is often shown on television programs, in Hollywood movies and in almost every place where the ninjas are seen. The shuriken is a thin metal star. It is used to throw enemies, but it can also be used as a small knife to cut. However, the use of shuriken was not limited to killing. It is also used to distract the enemies. But it can be even more dangerous if the edges are mixed with poison.
3. Ashiko
Ashiko is a pointed metal nail attached to a special rope and lace shoes used for climbing. It's not for everyday use, it has a fairly simple design which meant to unite and tie quickly to a ninja's feet to escape. It is very useful for jumping walls (like Spider-man).
4. Chigiriki
Chigiriki is a stick with a chain that has a heavy ball on the tip. Often the stick was made of bamboo, wood or metal, but the chain and the ball were always made of metal and were useful for attacking an enemy from a distance and for strangling an opponent.
5. Kama
Originally intended for harvest, the kama is a set of small sticks with a sharp blade on both edges. It is between 11 and 12 inches long and is easy to transport. After all, the ninjas came mainly from farming communities and they used similar tools as their ninja weapons to get good results.
6. Kyotetsu Shogei
It is a flexible weapon to attack from a distance. With the simple design, the small blade is ideal for quick hits and the rope is often used to knock down enemies.
7. Tanto
It is one of the most crucial ninja weapons for a ninja. It is a thin and sturdy steel knife. It can be used to kill quickly or to open closed doors, dig small holes. It is also a launch device.
8. Tetsu Bishi
Tetsu Bishi is one of the small pointed lethal ninja weapons that hurt the feet of the enemy. As inside Japanese homes, people usually walked barefoot, the ninjas then threw this lethal weapon on the ground. It is also called drops of water. It is made of iron and sometimes it contains poison inside to instantly kill the enemy.
9. Naginata
Naginata is a long stick with a knife on both sides. This lethal ninja weapon was used for close combat and was also beneficial on the battlefield. The samurai wives often trained to use this tool to defend their homes, no doubt against the ninjas. Currently, training with naginata is the most popular martial art for Japanese women.
